We have almost finished the extension to Cooke’s Cottage in Hilton, Cambridgeshire. The solid oak Gothic arch was fitted to the delight of our client. This forms the 1st floor entrance to the new en-suite bathroom.
The Gylon screed has been poured over the underfloor heating system. This liquid screed can be installed much thinner than traditional screed and has better thermal properties allowing the underfloor heating to perform more efficiently, thus saving energy. Laying it thinner allowed us to increase the insulation from 70mm to 90mm, so it’s an all round better solution.
The liquid self-leveling screed was poured in under an hour, saving time and money.
We are now registered installers of Gylon screed supplied by Lafarge.
