Our dream to relocate our workshop to Crow’s Nest on Ermine Street, Papworth is becoming closer to reality, as work at Crow’s Nest looks to be restarting in Spring. The historic barns lie on a major Roman Road that connected London, Lincoln and York. The huge barns are full of matierals and old relics of the farm, and reflect our passion for heritage sites and restoration.
We are planning to keep the old barns on either side of the old courtyard. These buildings will be renovated to our high standards, and house offices as well as a cafe for staff and visitors.
A brand new workshop will be connected to the old barns and lie North East of these old buildings. The new space will overlook a courtyard with car and bike parking, and be surrounded by new hedgerows. The initial foundation holes for this buildings have been dug and are ready for the steel framing to go up!
