January is always a busy time in architecture and interiors.
It is a time when clients turn their thoughts to their dreams and aspirations for their homes for the coming year, whilst projects that slowed down over Christmas really move up a gear and gain momentum.
We’ve had an incrediby busy start to 2018, with a record month for new architecture and planning application projects, some fantastically interesting new building projects starting on site and even the commission for a bespoke modernist-inspired built fumed oak entrance door. More on all these projects to follow shortly!
It has also been all systems go as our creative team have been out and about to the design trade fairs, including Maison et Objet in Paris; the behemoth of all things interior! For those of us who live for great design, whether that be for work or pleasure, there’s nothing that compares to a great design expo, where the best and boldest design visionaries in the world exhibit their most innovative and exciting new works and creations and where new trends are presented to the world.
Maison & Objet, the bi-annual interior trade show is one of the most respected and renowned in the world. Design mavens flock to the French capital to discover the best in European furniture and product design every January and September in this awe-inspiring showcase that spans four days. We’ve trawled every aisle of five enormous hangar size exhibition halls, met with our familiar and trusty suppliers and sought out some wonderful new brands and products, and are looking forward now to receiving some really beautiful new pieces in store and on our website.
More of which, you will, of course, be the first to hear!
